Sacred rituals for self-acceptance

Without Self-Acceptance there cannot be any self-growth. When you are aware of yourself, you need to accept that you are who you are. You are your own unique self. You need to accept your strengths, flaws, things that make you anxious, angry, frustrated and triggered.

Also accept the things that make you happy and feel calm.

Do the things that make you feel empowered, and alive.

Allow yourself to enjoy the little moments that uplifts you and make you feel like yourself.

Here are some Rituals for Self-acceptance:

1. Meditation : Meditation allows you to stay still and reflect, calm your mind and understand yourself better.

2. Yoga : Yoga not only strengthens your body but also improves mind body connection facilitating self-awareness.

3. Slow Mornings : Slower mornings allow you to accept the flow of day, helps you be in tune with yourself and prepare for the day ahead.

4. Watering the plants : Watering the plants gives you an opportunity to appreciate the joy of stillness and being in the present moment. It's very uplifting and refreshing.

5. Cooking : Cooking can be very relaxing and creative. Making a meal for yourself can make you feel special and important, because we as women always do it for others. Just once in a while cook for yourself.

6. Relax : Just find some time in your busy schedule to unwind and relax. Even 10 minutes during the day to just have a moment to yourself, check in with yourself, breathe.

7. Do what you LOVE : If you don't do what you love, you'll have to love what you do. And that builds a lot of resentment and you are never grateful. Doing what you love enables you to live life to the fullest and appreciate the little things in life and be grateful.

8.SLEEP : Sleep for your mind and your body. Have good night's sleep can do wonders for your mood and keeps you healthy. Sleep can also be very important in helping you accept yourself. Because at the end of the day sleep is how our brain organizes and files every random thought in our consciousness. When you sleep you allow your brain to do the work for you, to make a decision or a choice, or accept how you feel.
